18/11/2009 - Christmas in Perth
Interflora District 4 invited Mark to demonstrate for the annual Christmas meeting on 15 November. Mark showed a range of 20 items covering commercial Christmas designs, gourmet hamper presentations and some creative and innovative festive design options.
08/10/2009 - Floriade Displays
Mark was part of the design team that created the spectacular Interflora display in Canberra at Floriade - Australia's largest flower festival. The display concept was crisp and fresh, with a calming colour palette, and featured stunning white Waratahs (telopea) and White King Proteas (cynaroides).
02/10/2009 - Celebrating Fusion Flowers 50th Issue
The October-November Fusion Flowers Magazine marked the publication's 50th Issue. To celebrate the achievement Mark created a special design featuring a hand-made wire medallion - a suitable award for such a great milestone.Congratulations to Alison and Denis and all the Fusion Flowers Team.

26/09/2009 - Changing Carnival Blooms
'Changing Blooms' was again a highlight feature at the Toowoomba Carnival Flower, Food and Wine Festival this year, and Mark was the final participant. He was took out the 'Raffia Roll' Trophy for using the most red raffia in his design - a closely contested title with Naomi Clarkson and Irene Brockwell the Runners Up.
11/09/2009 - Workshopping Flora Australis
Mark attended the successful Flora Australis show in Sydney in August, and facilitated two workshops where participants created contemporary column designs. Flora Australis was staged by the New South Wales Floral Art Association. For more information - www.nswfloralartassociation.org.au
